The Construction of the Cirata Solar Power Plant

Project Owner : PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) Description : The construction of the Cirata Reservoir Floating Solar Power Plant (PTLS) in West Bandung Regency, West Java (West Java) which cost US$129 million, has started the construction process and is targeted for completion in November 2022. The reason is, this project was developed by the company PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali (PJB) in collaboration with a company from the United Arab Emirates, Masdar. This plant will illuminate 50 thousand homes and reduce 214,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and contribute to the absorption of 800 workers. The 145 MWac Cirata Floating PLTS Project itself is a floating solar power plant with the largest capacity in Southeast Asia. Project Value : US$129 million Project Schedule : 2021
